Vodka Tonic Ice Pops

Vodka Tonic Ice Pops (Served Two Ways)

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups tonic
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 1/2 lime zested & juiced

  • 5 zip lock ice pop bags**

Instructions

  1. Immediately pour 1 1/2 cup of tonic into a measuring cup or cup and let sit. You want the tonic to "flatten" so that the carbonation is released. The flavor will still be there but this helps when freezing the ice pops. 

  2. When tonic is flattened, begin prepping your pops. Zest & juice your lime. (If you like more lime flavor use 1 full lime).

  3. Into a pitcher or bowl add tonic, vodka, zest & lime juice. Stir until mixed.

  4. With either a funnel or the pitcher, begin slowly pouring your vodka tonic mixture into your zip lock bags. 

  5. Seal the bags & immediately place into freezer. Freeze for minimum 5 hours.

  6. To serve you have 2 options: 1) eat the ice pop exactly like you would a popsicle 2) turn your ice pop into a slushie. Pour your ice pop into a glass, add a straw, garnish with a lime & serve. ENJOY!
