know when to give up and have a margarita.

Why wait until Taco Tuesday when you can Margarita Monday?
Last August my man & I took a trip to Cancun & with the 70 degree weather we have had lately, I have been missing those white sandy beaches. We had so much fun getting up with no alarm, laying out & drinking margaritas in the pool all day. With my current lack of a pool & pale skin, I figured I could at least bring back one fun thing from our trip & create a cold beverage to feel like I am still there.
While I have always been particular to the “original” margarita on the rocks, I thought it would be fun to add a little extra flavor and antioxidants this time.
These mixed berry margaritas are the perfect for sitting on the porch & unwinding after a long day.
On top of being incredibly refreshing, in less than 10 minutes you to can feel like you are sitting on the beach in Cancun!
Trader Joes has THE BEST frozen food options. These frozen berries were a great mixture of black berries, raspberries, and blueberries. I liked having that variety in my mixed berry margarita.
**If you are more of a strawberry or peach fan thats okay! You can substitute from 1 cup of whatever frozen fruit you want!
If you like a thicker mixed berry margarita, just throw in a little more ice when you are in the blending process. If you want it to be more thin, just add the recommended portion in the recipe.
Also, if you are a spice fan, try using a mixture of cumin and salt to garnish the rim of your glass. It gives your drink an entirely different flavor profile!
ENJOY!

I have never related with a lead-off quote more than this. Seriously, sometimes you just need to break out the blender and the tequila! Looooove everything about this!
sometimes…2x a week, who is judging 😉
glad you like it, let me know if you make it!
Looks delish!:)
I think I’ll make a pitcher or two of these for my wine and paint party I’m having for my birthday on the 8th at my home! Sounds great! Wonder how the paintings will come out after a few of these?!?!?! 😜🎈🎉🎊😋
jealous! an extra splash of tequila will definitely have you feeling like picasso thats for sure!
