I don’t like dijon or honey mustard. No, the only kind of mustard I like is #FFFF00 mustard.

In an effort the hit my New Years goal of becoming a “healthier” me, I decided to count my macros for 3 months to see how “healthy” I was actually eating.
Number 1 lesson learned so far? The amount of mayonnaise I eat is not okay for a human being…and I have been wasting so many calories & daily fat intake on the original regular mayo when there are much better alternatives!
I have actually really started to enjoy it. It helps me plan out not only my meals more consistently and I am starting to recognize which carbs, proteins and fats are a better choice for me to eat depending on what I have already had that day.
One big change I have made is switching out store bought dressings for homemade ones. Now I not only know what is in the dressing but I also am able to make healthy switches to make my dressings better for me.
This Skinny Honey Mustard is now my go to for salad dressings & dips. It pairs well with grilled chicken tenders, my Everything Bagel Pigs in a Blanket & I even like to dip carrots into it! The fact that it takes 5 seconds to whip up doesn’t hurt either!
How to make my simple 5-ingredient Skinny Honey Mustard:
First, grab a jar of Avocado Oil Mayo.
It not only tastes exactly like regular mayonnaise but it has half the calories & fat found in a normal jar.
Add 1/3 cup of mayo into a bowl along with 2 tbsp of dijon mustard.
Next add 1 1/2 tbsp honey, 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar & 1/4 tsp black pepper into your bowl.
Whisk all the ingredients until they are well incorporated.
Finally, chill your honey mustard until it is time to serve.
This honey mustard may not be the bright yellow version that you find at a restaurant or Chick-a-Fila but it is just as delicious!
And the fact that you are not wasting your daily calorie/fat intake goals on a heavy dressing doesn’t hurt either!

Bud, Thanks for the heads up, I guess I was typing so quickly I didn’t realize I spelled it incorrectly.
