Ingredients
  

For the Pupcakes

  • 1 Cup Whole wheat flour (or oat flour for grain-free option)
  • 1 Ripe Banana (mashed)
  • ¼ Cup Peanut butter (unsweetened, xylitol-free)
  • ¼ Cup Coconut oil (melted)
  • Cup Honey (optional, skip for lower sugar)
  • 1 Large egg (beaten)
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla extract (or replace with unsweetened applesauce)
  • 1 Tsp Baking soda

For the Frosting

  • ½ Cup Plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ Cup Peanut butter (unsweetened, xylitol-free)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven
    Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners or lightly grease it.
  • Mix the Wet Ingredients
    In a large bowl, whisk together the egg, peanut butter, melted coconut oil, honey, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Add the Banana
    Stir in the mashed banana, making sure it’s well combined.
  • Incorporate the Dry Ingredients
    Gradually add the flour and baking soda, stirring until a thick batter forms.
  • Fill the Muffin Tin
    Evenly distribute the batter into the muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
  • Bake
    Place in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Cool the Pupcakes
    Remove from the oven and let them cool completely on a wire rack before frosting.
  • Make the Frosting
    In a small bowl, mix the Greek yogurt and peanut butter until smooth.
  • Frost & Serve
    Spread the frosting over the cooled pupcakes and optionally top with a small dog treat for decoration.
